We 
now have two Public Notaries at Anderson Boemi Lawyers.
Public Notaries are qualified lawyers appointed by the Supreme Court of New South Wales.
Public Notaries are able to witness the signing of documents and certify the authenticity of copies of documents. These services are similar to that of a Justice of the Peace, however, notaries are also able to prepare documents for overseas use.
Notaries affix their ‘official seal’ to documents that they deal with. These seals are individually recognised by the Department of Foreign Affairs.
Common documents requiring execution include:
- Birth, Death and Marriage Certificates;
- Affidavits and Powers of Attorneys;
- Statutory Declarations;
- University, TAFE or other transcripts;
- Notarial certificates; and
- Company and ASIC documents.
